The Red Door online shop is open
You can now order lacquerware that is finished and in stock at the workshop directly from the Shop section of the site, without going through a quotation.
For years most of Red Door's work has been made to order for partners at home and abroad. But there have always been pieces made while trying out a design, or a few left over from a batch, that visitors to the workshop asked to buy. The Shop exists so those pieces can reach more people.
What the shop sells
Finished, inspected pieces that are in stock: trays, boxes, vases, plates and a few small things for the table. Quantities are small; when a design sells out it is hidden until the next batch is done.
How ordering works
- Choose a piece and a quantity, and fill in your delivery details
- We confirm the order by phone or email within the working day
- Shipping is quoted at confirmation, depending on the address and the size of the parcel
- Payment follows confirmation; the piece is packed in shock-absorbing material and shipped within a few days
For larger quantities, custom designs or export orders, the Request a quote form remains the better route.
